How I curl my Hair!

Yayyy! I've been having numerous requests to do a hair curling tutorial, or if I have one every time my hair was curly in videos. This video is special to me because my very first video I uploaded on my channel a video explaining how I curl my hair. Knackered Nail Polish

Here's a Nail of the Day post! Currently I am wearing Knackered Nail Lacquer by Butter London. It's such a gorgeous and unique shade & I absolutely love it. However it's not opaque in 2, or 3 coats and that really sucks. This color is meant to be worn over another shade. I love that in different lighting this color from a purple, gray, green color.. If you get a chance to visit Ulta, go check out this shade because it's so different. These photos I posted do not do the color justice because in person, it is much more complex then what you see. In the photos as well, you can see that 3 coats is not enough.

Spring Pop of Colour Tutorial

Why does it always seem that when I turn around, it's a new month? Or in this case, a new season that is right around the corner! I just want to say that I absolutely want to love this nail polish. I love the color, but this particular nail polish is not opaque in 2 coats. Here I had to apply 3 coats so that my nails are not visible. This color applies streaky and the wear is not long at all! I painted my nails yesterday morning, so it has been over 24 hours that I've had this color on my nails, and look how it looks! Ignore the big streak on my middle finger, that was my fault for getting it caught. However if you look closely at my pinky and ring finger you can already see minor chipping. It may be the nail polish or the top coat I used (I used Hardwear Topcaot by Butter London), either way I do not recommend this color to anyone. Even though the color is gorgeous (a deep dark purple with hints of shimmer) it is streaky and is not opaque in 2 coats.

This by far was my favorite quad! I absolutely love purples on myself and they look great on every eye color! I know that pinks are hard and intimidating to wear, so a great alternative to that is wearing purples! It's also great that this quad has both a pink and a few purples.

January Favorites 2012

Here are my January favorites! Better late than never, right? (: I am extremely sorry that I haven't made a video in over a week. If you follow me on Twitter then you know why. I have been sick with the cold for a week now and my son is sick as well so it's been difficult to film. I was going to film a tutorial yesterday but I ran out of time, so I decided I'll just film a favorites video even though I sound so gross.. I'm also sorry that the lighting is horrible and that my camera is crooked. ):
I can't believe January is over and that we're already more than a week into February! It's my birthday month & I'll be 21 on the 22nd!!!

Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush

 

This is Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush from the MAC SHOP MAC, COOK MAC (isn't that such an odd and awkward name for a collection?). When I went to my MAC event, I only had the Florida Cremeblend Blush in mind, but when I swatched this particular one, I knew I had to get both. However, when I sat down to film my haul video, my Florida blush was not there! I'm upset that I didn't get it, but good thing the collection isn't available yet, so it won't be sold out yet!

This particular cremeblend blush is so pigmented and glides on so well. It may be a good or bad thing, because if you don't use a light hand, or a stippling blush, you will have extremely dark cheeks. I love this color and it's a great Winter  color as well as a Spring blush. Please keep in mind that my photo and swatch here are a bit darker than in person!
